This Christmas was a good Christmas. It didn’t seem quite the same without grandma there to criticize everyone, that’s one of the reasons why I loved her! She just said exactly what she was thinking! We all decided to have Christmas at her house this year just like we used to, for about as far back as I can remember! I remember waking up at midnight to open gifts at grandma’s house. Then we would eat and talk for hours. It was a bitter sweet night. We missed her but we know she would have wanted us to keep going on and enjoy Christmas like we always had.
