Father, Husband, Friend, Sports Ethusiast,
Service Advisor of the Year, Coach, Workout Fanatic
The titles above refer to….you guessed it, my husband!
Yesterday I went to watch my husband coach a youth basketball team. A co-worker asked my husband to coach this team and gladly my husband accepted the opportunity. He really enjoys coaching these boys and he feels like he gets to contribute some of his so-called “skills” to others. A friend of his is also helping him coach this team. Oh, the team is the DALLAS WARRIORS! I’ve been to a few practices and the boys are really good. Most of them are taller than I am, that’s sad. I’m a 28-year-old fully grown (at least vertically) woman. I’m not sure what parents are feeding their children these days, but they all seem to be far more mature than I remember when I was in the 7th grade.
The picture above is of my husband (in February) receiving his award for Service Advisor of the Year. This was a huge accomplishment for him, as he has been striving to accomplish this for three years now. It’s a tough thing to do when you’re competing with many others. Congrat’s my love for your accomplishment and the recognition that you’ve finally received.
Amongst working a ton, my husband still manages to find time to workout, at least 3 times a week. It’s not that often that he veers from this schedule. It’s far more motivated than I am, but I must start running next week. I’m thinking that if I keep everyone posted on my progress, it’ll keep me motivated to put my running shoes on and well…RUN! I’ll start that next week…I promise! Anyway, my husband is a great housekeeper! At least I think so. He cooks, cleans, and he does laundry. Men like that are hard to come by! I guess I got lucky! Regardless of one of us being fully capable of keeping up with the house, he is very adamant about hiring someone to clean our home at least once every two weeks, I’m just a little skeptical. I just know that I could use that money for something else. Hmmm…I guess it’s something to think about!
Last, but not least my husband is an awesome husband and a wonderful father. What more can a girl ask for?!
