Raul “Popo” Santos
On May 23, the grandfather, of a great friend of mine, passed away unexpectedly. My heart is heavy knowing that his family lost a great man and that they are grieving. I’m blessed that I had the opportunity to know such an amazing man. I have the fondest memories of him and of the wonderful husband and grandfather that he was to my dear friend and her grandma. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. I pray that his family takes comfort in knowing that his last breathe on earth, was his first in heaven and that he is in a better place; free from pain and suffering. As I prepare to drive to Corpus tomorrow morning to pay my respect to this wonderful man, I will reflect upon the memories I have of him and continue to pray for his family and my sweet friend who loved her “Popo” so much. Thank you Raul for the caring words and kindness that you’ve always shown to me. God Bless you Raul and may you rest in peace.
