Yesterday was Joshua’s last day of his summer visit with us. Where did the time go? It seems like it was just yesterday that I was picking him up to begin his summer visit. Some days, getting him up to go to summer camp, proved to be far more challenging than others. But, we all made it through with only a few grumpy and tired mornings. While he was here he participated in a summer camp at Primrose School. Overall, he seemed to enjoy the field trips that he went on twice a week and the new friends that he made. If all goes as planned, he will get to join those same friends next summer at this same summer camp. The thing that I’m most thankful for is that Jeff really got to spend a lot of quality time with him. This was very important to my husband. This lil’ guy is growing up fast and in just one short week he’ll be starting the 1st grade. Heck, in a few months he’ll be 7 years old. Again, where does the time go? Time flies and soon the sweet, cute little boy that we love and adore will become a teenager who only cares about his social life, so we’ll thoroughly enjoy all of the sweet moments while they last! My husband and I really enjoyed having this funny, little guy with us for 6 weeks and he will be greatly missed. Until next time buddy!
