This morning we received news that my husband’s mother had passed on.
I am thankful that we drove to Houston on Wednesday and that my husband had the opportunity to see and speak with his mother one last time before she passed. I’m also thankful that he had the opportunity to exchange forgiveness with her, as I know how imperative this is for people in the stages of grieving. Forgiveness is a wonderful thing and because of this my husband is doing well and has accepted her death well beyond anything I could have ever imagined. I pray that his mother left this world knowing that regardless of how she was as a mother, she had a son who loved her because she was his mother and that he whole-heartedly forgave her for all her mistakes, as I’m sure she forgave him for his as well.
May you rest in peace Luann.
