The night before Halloween, known as “Halloween filled with alcohol for grown-ups”, was fun! A group of us dressed up and celebrated in our utmost fashionable outfits! The husband and I chose to dress up a little retro, 60’s to be quite exact! His friends got a little more creative than we did. One was dressed as a cougar hunter (we all know how popular those are around here) and the other as none other than the infamous Osama Bin Laden! At times, throughout the night, the cougar hunter pretended to be the army guy who captured Osama. You’ll see why (pay attention to his attire)! The highlight of the night (of which I unfortunately did not catch on camera) was the, not once but twice, moment the cougar hunter lived up to his name by dancing with a “nurse”. Better described by him as, “a sixty year oldass who smells likes mothballs smoke”. It was quite hilarious, and gross at the same time, to watch the youngest guy of the group dance with the eldest lady in the freakin’ building! Fun times! I’d like to think of Halloween as the one night that you can absolutely dress, or act, as you would NEVER on any other day of the year. My motto: have fun dressing up, but always be tactful! We are already planning our costumes for next Halloween, so needless to say, we cannot wait until Halloween 2011, but first we’ve got to get through the stressful, stomachful, empty-your-pocket book holidays! So much to look forward to as we wrap up what was known as an exciting and eventful Twenty-Ten!
