How Far Along: 26 weeks, 4 days
Size of Baby: Cucumber (more like the length, not the size)
Size of Baby: Cucumber (more like the length, not the size)
Weight Gain: 14.2 lbs
Gender: Baby Cole is a BOY!
Maternity Clothes: Still wearing mostly regular clothes. Dresses and bigger sizes of clothes are still working. Tanks and linen shorts are my best friend. This week bought another maternity shirt and a pair of maternity short from the Gap (shown above). I only paid $20.00 for both items…what a GREAT deal! I went to Motherhood Maternity hoping to find some clothes, but I had no luck there.
Belly Button: In
Symptoms: None.
Cravings: Still eating half a pickle after work, other than that there is nothing else I’m really craving.
Sleep: Still waking up frequently to use the bathroom. Considering the purchase of a body pillow for more comfort. Sleeping with a regular pillow under my belly when I sleep on my side, for support. I’m trying to hold off, because I’m hopeful that a new mattress when we move will help. My hips are cramping up more and more, so I may have to give in a buy a body pillow soon.
What I miss: Still just missing cold sandwiches. My request is that I get a Club Lulu from Jimmy John’s immediately after having this sweet boy!
Movement: More and more movements are being noticed. Still mostly during the day, but more so after eating.
Best Moment of the Week: Well, we announced our name to everyone….Mason Grey ended up being our final choice. The runner up was Elijah Grey. We completed our Baby Registry at 3 different stores. Why 3? Well, the store that I really like isn’t anywhere in Corpus, so we registered there for the Baby-Q that we plan on having in our new home. Another exciting thing this week was the purchase of Mason’s first out fit, along with a few others. I’ve procrastinated with buying anything, simply because we’ll be moving in a couple of weeks and I didn’t want to have another thing to move, but I caved. Speaking of moving, our house was completed this week. We are super excited to move and get settled in to our new home. Our closing date is August 19 and we’ll be moving in on August 23. What better present than Our Home for our 5th wedding anniversary!
