How Far Along: 29 weeks, 4 days
Size of Baby: Acorn Squash
Size of Baby: Acorn Squash
Weight Gain: 15.4 lbs
Gender: Baby Cole is a BOY!
Maternity Clothes: Still mostly wearing regular clothes. Dresses and bigger sizes of clothes are still working. Tanks and linen shorts are still part of my daily wardrobe. I still have only purchased one maternity shirt and pair of shorts from The Gap.
Belly Button: Partially out
Symptoms: Mild swelling in my hands and unable to wear my wedding rings. Some swelling in feet after walking around a lot.
Cravings: No real cravings at this point.
Sleep: Still waking up 1-2 times a night to use the restroom. Hips still cramping up while sleeping and still uncomfortable to move around at night.
What I miss: Still missing cold sandwiches.
Movement: Lots of movements still noticed during the day, especially after eating. Some movements at night, but nothing that wakes me up.
Best Moments of the Week: This week I and an appointment with Dr. G for my glucose test and regular check up. I had heard plenty of horrible things about the liquid that I had to drink. It actually didn’t taste as bad as people claimed it tasted. In fact, it tasted a lot like a watered down Sunkist. It’s a good thing I like Sunkist! Dr. G also checked your heart rate and all was well. My belly is still measuring larger than it should, 31 weeks to be exact. Due to measuring larger, I am scheduled to have a soon at 31 weeks to project Baby Cole’s birth weight.
I also traded in my 2 door Mercedes for a mom mobile! It’s not what I really wanted, because I particular about the cars I drive. I do realize that I am blessed and fortunate to be able to make this change, so I will drive this SUV with pride!
This week we also went on our annual family trip to Concan. As usual we had so much fun! It was a little different this time around because I couldn’t consume alcoholic beverages,
but I still had fun! We laughed, talked, and stayed up later than necessary. We also talked about how on our trip next year we’ll have an almost 9 month old to entertain! I can’t wait to include our son in all of our family adventures so that he can see just how much he is loved. P.S. I did not take very many pics on our trip this year!
