Weight Gain: 27 lbs
Gender: Baby Cole is a BOY!
Maternity Clothes: Mostly wearing maternity with a few regular shirts still. I have one pair of Gap maternity shorts and jeans, 7 maternity shirts, a dress, and leggings.
Belly Button: Out
Symptoms: Some swelling in feet and hands. Can’t wear wedding rings anymore! Carpal tunnel is getting worse.
Cravings: No real cravings at this point.
Sleep: Still waking up 1-2 times a night to use the restroom. Hips still cramping up while sleeping and still uncomfortable to move around at night.
What I miss: Still missing cold sandwiches and an occasional apple cider!
Movement: Lots of movements still noticed during the day, especially after eating. Some movements at night, but nothing that wakes me up. It’s definitely awkward, but so surreal, to feel you flip around in mommy’s tummy. It is so amazing and your daddy thinks it’s so cool! At this point, there definitely has got to be very little room in my belly for you.
Best Moments of the Week: Yea! You are officially full term! We made it this far!
On Tuesday, mommy had a baby care basics class that she went to without daddy because he had to work. Since I’m a pediatric nurse, I was pretty sure I knew most of what was going to be discussed, and I did but it was still informative.
This week, daddy put up one of the final and main touches in your room and I love how it turned out!
On Friday, I had another doctors appointment. This time we did another sono to check on your size. Daddy was there and we were both kind of surprised when they said that you could possibly be up to 9 pounds by the time you hit 40 weeks. You are currently 7 pounds, 10 ounces and at the 75th percentile. So, I will be having a c-section and it will be scheduled at 39 weeks, on November 7, unless you decide to come before then. We’ll wait and see! I worked half a day on Friday, and my co-workers had a mini-shower for me and two other girls that are also pregnant at work. I thought it was so kind and thoughtful of them!
