Yet again, another week has passed. I know I’ve said it before, but time sure does go by fast, especially when you’re doing something you love and spending time with someone you love! This week you were definitely more alert and aware of your surroundings. Here are our highlights for the week:
- We had yet another photo shoot this week. This time it was with all of us, including Elaine, Tyler, and Josh. We had never had a true family picture together so since they were here for Thanksgiving I thought that this would be an opportune time to do so. I also needed a picture of us for our Christmas cards. It was a little windy outside for photos, but it worked out just fine.
- This week mommy also had her final test of the semester for pathophysiology. This class has been the death of me, but I’m proud to say that I passed. It was a little challenging taking a 3 hour test with 4 week old baby to tend to (daddy was working so he couldn’t help), but you were such a big boy for mommy. During these 3 hours, you had 2 diaper changes, two feedings, one outfit change, and two naps. I’d say we were both pretty successful!
- You had play time on your mat and you really seemed to enjoy it!
- You’re still nursing every 3 hours during the day and about every 3-4 hours at night. There was one night this week where you woke up almost every 2 hours. It was exhausting but we got through it. Your dad has been a lifesaver. Since you were born I haven’t cooked dinner at all. He comes home every day after work and cooks. He is such a good daddy and husband!
- We managed to go to a few stores before it got cold again! Christmas shopping this year has sort of gone to the way side. It’s not easy shopping with a baby and a stroller. It simply means that I can’t buy more than one large item because there is no where to put it.
- Today, it began sleeting pretty badly. Supposedly the roads are going to be iced over tomorrow. We’ll see how that goes. I’m just glad I don’t have to drive to work and that you and I can stay home and cuddle!
