Sweetest Mason,
Where has the time gone?! This month you’re four months old and time is going by too quickly. I still can’t believe how much you change every day, and how much you’ve changed since we first brought you home.
You’ve discovered your feet, fingers and arms. You grab your feet all the time. Recently you started to run your fingers up and down your own arm, as well as play with your fingers by touching your finger tips together. You are also giggling now and blowing bubbles. You really love to giggle for your daddy! I agree he is a pretty funny guy!
You still don’t have any teeth, but you’re still drooling like crazy. Mommy got you some fashionable bibdanas that look cute since you must wear a bib. You’re loving Sophie the giraffe…you love chewing on her legs.
You have been trying to sit up so much that mommy bought you a sit ‘n play chair. It helps support you in front and back so you can have better control while sitting. You really seem to like this and prefer to be in it now than your rock ‘n play.
You’re eating 6 ounces twice a day since you are consistently being fed every 4 hours. You are also nursing every 4 hours on the weekends. You get nursed in the morning before I leave to work, when we get home after daycare and work, and last before you go to bed for the night. Just when you were getting used to our schedule, mommy stepped down from her leadership position at work due to school. You’ve adjusted well with daddy putting you to bed at night, with a bottle instead of being nursed. You’re now going to bed at 8:30pm. You’re napping better since you are at a new daycare now. You consistently nap at 9:00-10:00 am, 12:00-3:00pm and 5:00-6:00pm.
Some firsts for you this month: Went to church with mommy and daddy, Valentine’s Day, First Day of Daycare
I’m so thankful that you are an easy going baby, because with mommy’s crazy schedule you have to be.
XOXO,
Mommy
