This week was another fun week and another first for you! It was also a short week because you didn’t have day care 2 days this week and I got to spend more time with you, which I always LOVE! Here you go:
- The weather has been nice lately, so we’ve been going out on walks after you get home from day care. You love just looking around and being outside.
- This week you tried carrots for the first time, and yet again you loved them! I’m so glad that you like you are liking vegetables so far. We only have green beans and squash left to try. Hopefully you’ll like them too.
- On Sunday, I worked a short shift so that we could go to daddy’s company picnic at Six Flags. You did so good, despite the heat. I did buy a fan to put on your stroller, but I didn’t open it until we were at Six Flags and found out that the battery compartment required a screwdriver. Epic fail on my part! You still did fine and we took time to take you out of your stroller periodically and sit in cool spots. You really seemed to enjoy letting ice melt in your mouth with mommy holding it of course. You rode your first ride…the vintage cars. You had to sit next to mommy because they wouldn’t let me hold you in my lap, but I made sure to hold on to you tightly. You just sat in the seat and enjoyed the scenery!
- You are definitely becoming more and more social. Everyone that you come into contact with loves your smile (I don’t blame them).
- You are beginning to sit up on your own. You’re still a little wobbly, but for the most part you can sit without any support or assistance.
- You are now eating 2 meals consistently, rice cereal at day care and veggies when you get home, and are still nursing twice and bottle feeding three times a day.
- You go to sleep by 9:30pm, but are still waking up between 12:00-1:00am. I think it’s because you know that this is when mommy gets home, luckily you go right back to sleep with your pacifier.
Out on one of our many strolls thru the neighborhood!
Your daddy sent me this picture one night captioned with, “I don’t think he’s happy at all”.
