Happy 1/2 Birthday…, Incredibly Blessed Nest Blog

My dearest Mason Grey,

Wow!!! Six months…I can’t remember what life was like before you. All that I know of is life with you. Our lives revolve around you sweet boy. You are our world, our everyday, our life. We are so blessed that He chose us to be your parents. We are also so grateful for the past 6 months. You have taught us so much about unconditional love and being parents. I pray that you will learn to know all about Jesus and that he will stir your heart with an immense amount of love for yourself and others.

You the sweetest, cutest, most lovable baby ever!

You are MOBILE!! You are crawling everywhere and grabbing everything in sight. You are officially sitting up all by yourself too. You have also learned your name and you are looking at us when we say it. You are still as smiley as ever. Everyone always comments on what a happy baby you are or about how good you are.

You’re still drinking 6 ounces twice a day while at day care, and are being fed every 4 hours. You are also nursing every 4 hours on the weekends. You get nursed in the morning before daycare, when we get home after daycare, and just before mommy leaves for work. You like your rice cereal now, especially if I mix it with vegetables. You’ve tried peas, carrots, squash, and green beans and you love them all. You sure don’t have any objections to eating.

You are officially in your own room and sleeping in your crib. Occasionally daddy will put you in our bed if you happen to wake up before mommy gets home, but you are now waking up more frequently when I get home. You still going to bed at 8:30pm and napping from 9:00-10:00 am, 12:00-3:00pm and 5:00-6:00pm.

Some firsts for you this month: Outing with Daddy, Visit with Easter Bunny, Easter, Egg Hunt, Tooth, Visit to Six Flags

While on your outing with Daddy, you both went to The Rustic because daddy had a dinner for work there. Daddy said that all the girls kept going up to you saying how cute you were. You actually smiled and enjoyed your visit with the Easter Bunny, I’m sure that next year won’t be as successful. You finally got your first tooth (lower front tooth) and we would not have known it, because you did was drool which wasn’t much different that what you’ve been doing for the past several months.
