…We had a pretty low key week while mommy was trying to finish up this semester at school. You had a few firsts this week…
- Well, on May 3, mommy noticed that your first tooth had finally broke thru. I will admit, I did shed a few tears. I’m only sad because this means that you’ll be losing that gummy smile that I love so much and that you are growing and getting bigger every single day. Anyway, beside the usual excessive drooling and chewing on your fingers, you had not been fussy at all. I’m so thankful that teething doesn’t seem to bother you. I hope it stays that way as the rest of your teeth come in.
- This week you tried squash and green beans for the first time and you loved them. So far, you love all your veggies! You did try bananas and you were not a fan of them. You squinted your eyes and shook your head….everything short of gagging. Mommy ended up mixing them with rice cereal so that you would eat them.
- We moved you up to your room this past weekend and you did well. You still woke up between 12:00-1:00am. Praying that this ends soon! I don’t mind waking up with you, but I would love for you to get some sleep without interruptions.
- On Saturday daddy and I went to buy you a high chair. I thought it was time, because your sit n’ play seat was getting dirty and well you need a high chair darn it!
- You’re still nursing and taking 3 bottles a day. You’re eating baby foods twice day.
Out for a walk and enjoying your first taste of water!
Trying out your new high chair!
Back in your room! Sleeping away!
Just playing while hanging out with daddy!
Getting dressed and ready for daycare!
Posing for mommy’s friend who bought you this onesie!
Eating…
Oh, just sitting in your high char like a big boy and waiting to eat!
Trying bananas and this was this face tells us exactly how you felt about them!
Playing with your new bibs because they make noise when you scratch on them…
This would be me snapping and you wondering what exactly I’m doing with my fingers.
