You really enjoy walks outside on your tricycle, so when the weather is nice I take you out on walks. You love airplanes and point to them anytime you see them flying over us when we’re walking. If your shoes are near you, you try to put them on. You also love kicking your soccer ball and saying “ball”.
You I love when I tickle you, because I’ll say tickle and touch your belly, and then you touch your own belly and say “tickle, tickle, tickle” over and over again. It is the cutest thing ever. You sure can make me laugh.
You are also becoming more affectionate and are freely giving kisses now. One day we were out Christmas shopping and waiting patiently for them to bring us an item, when you decided to kiss me over and over again. With those great kisses came a lot of saliva, but I’ll take them any day! Another night when I was putting you to bed, you lifted your head and kissed me and then laid back down.
You had your second ear infection and a high fever that accompanied it. You’re also teething and not doing so well with these larger back teeth that are coming in. Praying that you don’t get another ear infection.
You’re drinking 6-8 ounces three times a day (8:30am, 11:30am, and 6:00pm). We officially took your pacifier away. I think you did so well with the whole process. You already were only using at night when going to bed. You did have a harder time falling asleep at night, but you didn’t cry and it only took you 2 whole nights to fall asleep without being so restless.
You are eating 3 times a day (8:30am, 11:30am, and 6:00pm) with a morning and afternoon snack. Your favorite foods: chicken, quesadillas, mac ‘n cheese, any pasta with sauce, meatballs, eggs, and broccoli and cheese nuggets (I had to get creative to get veggies in you).
We love you sweet and funny boy! We are feel so blessed to be your parents and to watch you grow into the independent, active boy that you are becoming.
