This week was rough in our house. Mason was sick, again! My poor guy can’t seem to catch a break! He was fine at the beginning of the week, but mid-week I was called to pick him up from daycare because his fever was 103.9! Of course my first thought was, poor guy and why didn’t I notice that this morning, since I was called at 10:15am. My next thought was I hope doesn’t have the flu!
I immediately took him to the doctor and of course, strep and flu were negative and his ears were fine. I was also fearful that his ears were infected again making this his fourth ear infection. Turns out it was viral. A couple of days went on and he began drooling excessively and waking up at night crying, as if his throat was hurting. So, I took him in to the doctor again on Friday and strep was negative again….then the gastritis came on, and is still going on today! Praying that my little man can catch a break soon, because I’m tired of him being sick!
Well, since he was sick we stayed home most of the week and weekend; however, the weather was cold and miserable so it was perfectly fine that we stayed couped up in the house!
