Can we say photo overload!!! I have tons of pics to share, because our week of weather was eventful. We had ice on Monday and Tuesday; therefore, schools were closed and Mason stayed home with me. By Wednesday the ice began to turn to slush, but by Friday we had snow….a ton of it! I left clinicals early and picked Mason up early to get home and enjoy a few minutes in the snow. It began snowing at around 9:30am and it didn’t stop until around 6pm-ish. On both Tuesday and Friday, my husbands place of business closed down by 4:00pm, so it was nice to have him home earlier than usual.
On another note, Mason was getting over a stomach bug and the illness that he had last week. Thank goodness for no more fevers!
Also, being cooped up at home for too many days in a row got me thinking a lot about working and my passions in life. I love my job as a pediatric nurse and I love what I do and have done, and I believe I’m going to love being a pediatric nurse practitioner. I also love photography and I’ve always love taking pictures…many of them. I have got something stirring in my heart and I can’t wait to see where God takes me and my future! Stay tuned….
This was the beginning of ice day #1.
Hanging out with momma at home after attempting to go to day care for the first time this week on Wednesday. Too bad we were told he probably couldn’t return then next day. I secretly think he just wants to stay at home with his momma…at least that is what I’d like to think!
A target grocery run on Thursday afternoon!
This would be my windshield just before leaving clinical early on Friday when it was snowing. I had ice/snow on my windshield and had to sit and let my defroster work.
Driving into our neighborhood.
Our home!
My poor dirty truck.
Playing in the snow!
Max also wanted to get some snow time in!
Laying on momma’s legs! Love those baby toes!
Loves getting into the drawers and rearranging the DVD’s.
Eating the yummy dinner I made him!
More snow pics from Friday! This is our backyard covered in snow.
Looking at the snow.
Out in the snow! I placed him in the one spot and he never moved from here. He wasn’t quite sure what to think of it!
I told him to catch the snow and he held his hands out to do so. The sweetest thing ever!
Goodbye snowy weather. I’m so ready for some sunny warm weather, but mother nature has something else planned for this coming Wednesday.
