It’s back to the grind this week, but this past week was full of much needed relaxation, fun, and family time. We took a 13 hour drive to Tennessee, and while the drive was long it was a nice. The last time we went to Tennessee was five and half years ago and it was during the summer, and we had no kids. This time it was winter and we took the kids. We had so much fun then, that we hoped to share it with the kids someday so that is why we decided to go here again. Here are some pics of our wonderful week. More pics to come later tonight, or later this week!
We don’t have trees like this in Texas.
Watching movies on our long drive. We only saw Planes and Planes: Fire and Rescue 500 times! It’s the only movie he’ll watch.
Playing with his giraffe.
Playing peek-a-boo with his book!
We arrived late on Monday night, so I couldn’t take a pic, but I captured this glorious view on Tuesday morning.
Eating his snacks!
Riding the ferris wheel and loving these views!
Eating out and playing with crayons!
Exhausted after a long day! This is pretty much how our day ended every day!
He loved walking everywhere. I don’t blame him. Sitting in his car seat and then his stroller often was a bit much!
Eating at Bubba Gump!
Watching The Lumberjack Feud!
Hanging out in our matching pj’s!
Love those bear cheeks!
Adios, Tennessee!
Saying “Hi” to the cars and trucks we drove by.
While we were gone we received a slide that my husband had ordered for Mason, so daddy put it together!
Watching and waiting while daddy puts his slide together!
He loved it. In fact, he did not want to come back inside!
