We had such a fun weekend over here! Mason and I had an extra day together this week since his school was closed for a designated “vacation” day. The hubs had to work this past Saturday, so I took Mason to a Kite Festival that was taking place at the school in our neighborhood. Since it was so close, I packed some goldfish for Mason and strapped him on his tricycle and we walked our short two blocks to get there. If I haven’t said it before we love our neighborhood and how family oriented it is! This week is an exciting week as I prepare for graduation….yahoo!!!!
Just in case you were wondering, a little boy lives here!
Max thinks it’s okay to just sit in all of the warm, clean clothes.
This week I rented a fancy lens for my camera for my very first photo shoot this past weekend. What kind of mom would I be if I didn’t take pictures of my son using it! This shot is far from perfect, but I love how he is smiling at himself in the mirror.
Mason loved looking at all of the kites. What a relaxing day we had!
Mom fail…I made this cute 1/2 birthday hat for Mason’s 6 month photo session, but I forgot it at home. It was a little labor of love, so I was a little sad about it. Now, we just play with it for fun!
On Sunday mornings we play soccer and chase bubbles!
This past weekend our kids splash pad opened, so we took Mason. Last year he loved it. This year not so much! He didn’t mind just standing and playing with his shark, but he did not want to venture any further from his mom or towards the waterslide.
