Over the past month your personality is really showing. You are a very determined little boy and get frustrated when things don’t work out how you want them to. You can’t exactly express how you feel except to get frustrated, pout and walk away. You are definitely testing your limits to see what exactly you can get away with. We’ve had to use timeout a few times. I pray that you learn quickly as to what you can and cannot do without harming yourself.
You’ve also really taken to body slamming mommy and daddy! If we are laying on the floor you love to run and fall flat right on top of one of us! You think it is so funny! You’ve also learned to dive forward and you like to fall on purpose.
You’re becoming really good at throwing a ball and you like to roll the ball back and forth, as well as play with your cars. You love to line up the “cars and truck” behind the sofa and just roll them around.
You are becoming very shy and purposefully try to make yourself not smile. You curve your lips down and pout so that you won’t smile. You warm up to others quickly, but are very shy at first.
Daddy and I took you to the library for the first time and you thought it was fun to run through the library. Needless to say, Daddy picked you up so that you wouldn’t disturb others. We checked out a few books, so that you would have different ones to read at bedtime.
You’re drinking 6-8 ounces of milk three times a day (8:30am, 11:30am, and 6:00pm).
You are eating 3 times a day (8:30am, 11:30am, and 6:00pm) with an occassional morning snack, and afternoon snack. Your favorite foods: chicken, quesadillas, mac ‘n cheese, any pasta with sauce, meatballs, eggs, french toast, broccoli and cheese nuggets. You’re beginning to venture out and try new things. You like ham and bacon now.
You have bath time around 7:00-7:30pm, go to bed between 8:00-8:30pm, and wake up between 7:00-8:00am.
First: Visit to the library
