Our Christmas was great. We are so blessed to be able to get and give gifts for our family members, as well as others who are less fortunate. I always try to remember the true meaning of Christmas and I will also try to instill this into Mason. It’s not about what we receive, but about giving to others. When shopping I usually try to stick with four meaningful things:
something to wear
something to read
something you want
something you need
I feel that keeping things meaningful really keep things in perspective during this time of year. I found some really cute tags online here. I pray that God gives my husband and I the knowledge and will to teach Mason the true meaning of Christmas, and to teach him to give with a grateful heart. I can’t wait until next year to be able to do some advent activities to help with teaching him the true meaning of Christmas.
Mason all ready to leave for Christmas Eve services at church.
Opening our Christmas Eve gift and stocking. Usually I give pajamas and a small toy.
Santa stopped by and left his gift for Mason. I can’t wait to see his excitement. He is still so obsessed with trains.
Seeing for the first time what Santa left him.
Love the excitement in his eyes.
In complete awe!

The gift tags I mentioned above. I printed them on pearl cardstock and use a little twine to tie them on!
