We had a pretty good week and my boy and I got to spend extra quality time together on my days off! I love having two days off during the week to spend with him. Time is a precious thing and everyday he’s getting bigger and further away from being my little boy. So, for now I will cherish these times of watching him grow and learn.
The weather this past week was awesome and in the upper 70’s so we made the most of it and tried to get out as much as possible. On Thursday, my husband had his annual awards banquet at work, so Mason and I enjoyed a movie with pizza, pasta, and wings (well, I enjoyed the wings). Mason is currently at the stage where he is favoring one parent over the other, and well for the most part he favors his momma. A couple of days this week it was his dad and yesterday my husband said, “isn’t it nice that he wants to spend a little time with his dad now”. Yes, honey it is 🙂
Playing blocks with daddy and building towers. My husband came home with a box of 200 more blocks, because we don’t have enough blocks taking over our living room.
My fancy blue apron dinner.
Out for a walk to look at ducks and play at the park. Our weather has not been very winter-like at all.
Vacuuming at my job.
Sweeping at home. He is becoming quite the cleaner. Now, how can I get him to pick up his toys more often?!
My husband getting really into shooting the basketball.
Shooting hoops on a Saturday night after dinner.
He loves to sit on the counter and “watch” me cook, while he eats from his plate as I put his food on it. Poor guy he never gets to eat, so he must be starving.
Eating some thin mints, a guy after his mama’s heart! This is his cheese face!
Sunday night, before bedtime, we like to wear our Halloween costume and run around and chase daddy saying “rooooaarrr!”.
Telling his daddy, “C’mon. Get up. Run daddy.”
Love our silly and care-free boy!
