What a fun week and weekend! The weather was great and we took full advantage of it. I think it’s safe to say that spring is pretty much here. Trees are blooming and allergies are high, ha! We went by the house a few times this week to check on the progress, and we finally have walls (more on that in a later post). On one of my days off we hung out and relaxed. We took a walk to see the ducks. On Thursday, daddy got out work really early. We went and had a quick lunch and met with our financial advisor, and then went to check on the house. We had dinner later that night. Overall, it was a good day. It isn’t very often that we have a full weekday together. On Saturday, Mason and I took a drive to Waco, TX to do a little shopping at Magnolia Market and some other fine shops. Don’t worry, there will be a separate post with pics and details about this tomorrow. Sunday was a normal day: church, eat lunch, nap, play, dinner, bedtime.
Being silly and pretending to sleep.
I’m not sure what the deal is lately, but my phone just doesn’t seem to be taking very clear photos. Is it just me?! Maybe it’s just that I have a 2 year old who doesn’t stand still for photos.
Clowning around with daddy’s Spurs cap. I bought him a new cap this week, size 2-3 years. It did not fit his giant noggin, so my husband went and grabbed his cap and it nearly fit his head perfect.
When did my baby get so big?! A typical morning off.
I bought him some new shoes, so he just wanted to wear them around the house with his pj’s.
His “cheese” face. All dressed and ready for our walk.
Showing me his nose.
Cheesin’ with his shades.
He kept saying “baby duck being by friend, momma duck being my friend, daddy duck being my friend”. Yes, sweet boy they are your friends.
Lover of trains.
Magnolia Market (more on this tomorrow).
After our long day in Waco, he looked like this. Mom of the year! It wasn’t that hot, I promise.
Long nap with his momma after church.
