It’s Friday, again! Ever notice how the weeks just go by too quickly when you’re a parent. I wonder why that is?! Perhaps it’s because we are too busy running around and planning our weeks for our littles, as opposed to just living the week for ourselves. I wouldn’t have it any other way though!
Planning for Easter has been on my list of things recently, because well it will be here next weekend. This week I’ll be talking about the 5 things I’ve pinned on Pinterest recently. Of course, they are all things Easter. Here we go:
I love this cake and think it screams Easter and Spring. It also looks easy enough to make, especially for people like me who don’t usually bake cakes. I think that my family would devour this cake. You can find the full recipe here.
In my old neighborhood we all boo’d each other. We never egged each other, but I think that this is a super cute and fun idea to do in our new neighborhood next year. We will be living in a cul-de-sac, so what a fun way to get everyone ready for Easter. You can find free printouts here.
Growing up we always dyed eggs for Easter. This chart by McCormick shows the exact combination of drops to put in water to get the color you’re looking for, as well as how to make your eggs stand out with their dazzle design guide. You can find the full chart here. McCormick has a ton of cute color combinations for egg color fun. Find them here.
I love these rice krispie Easter cups. Again, easy to make and something I can handle. The recipe is here. Since you’ll have dye for your eggs, you’ll already have the green dye for your white frosting. These treats would be a quick and easy grab for little hands too.
This Easter Oreo bark might be my favorite. I love oreos, M&M’s and vanilla candy, so I was sold on this recipe. I will definitely be making this for our Easter weekend. Recipe here.
Are you in Easter planning mode, like I am? I still have to get my little man’s Easter basket put together. I’ve already bought everything, I just have to get in the basket. If you would like to follow me on Pinterest to see what I’ve been pinning lately, click here.
