Yesterday we celebrated 10 years of marriage. This was us on our wedding day looking all young, skinny, and fit. Ha! My how time has changed us. In the past 10 years we’ve owned 4 homes, lived in 2 major cities in Texas, and had one kid.
We’re pretty simple folks, but this year we have something special planned for our anniversary that we’ll get to enjoy a month from now. Stay tuned. On this night though we went and had dinner at a nice place by the water in Galveston.
All fancied up and ready for our night out together.
Dinner at Number 13 with an ocean view.
The food was great and so were our conversations. It’s always good to get to have conversations without a kid interrupting you. Talking and enjoying each other’s company is really all that matters.
Here’s the thing. One thing stands true. When you truly allow someone to be themselves, follow their dreams, and encourage them, a lifetime of happiness will follow. What we’ve built together is better than I could have ever imagined. I’m grateful for all that He has blessed us with these past 10 years. May we always remember where we started and how far we’ve come.
Cheers to another 10!
You’re still the ONE!
