My first trimester came to an end the week of January 5, since we just made our official announcement I figured I’d document my thoughts on my first trimester.
WEIGHT:
Since the start of my pregnancy thru my first trimester I’ve actually lost 4lb. I don’t attribute it to sickness, but I do think it has to do with eating vegan/plant based for the past month.
CURRENTLY FEELING:
Bloated! Ha! My jeans are getting tighter, but not quite tight enough for maternity clothes yet.
THINGS I’VE LEARNED:
Every pregnancy is truly different. This pregnancy has been totally different. I’ve had nausea for all of the first trimester, but not actually vomiting. I’ve also had some skin blemishes and I never had that with my first pregnancy.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS:
– Finding out on Halloween that I was pregnant.
– Had an 8 week ultrasound that confirmed pregnancy and strong heartbeat of 156.
– Finding out gender at 12 weeks.
– Telling Mason on New Years Eve that he was going to be a big brother.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
I’m beyond grateful and thankful for being able to get pregnant and that we have a healthy baby. While trying to get pregnant again and a much older age than my first, I’ve leaned on my faith and learning to trust God and his plan for us as a family. I’ve also learned that when you no longer have hope DO NOT give up on his unwavering love and promise to us. Give your worries to Him and pray. He will always provide! ALWAYS!!!
