Well, now that the cat is out of the bag I can start sharing my weekly bump-date updates. I did the same thing every week when I was pregnant with Mason. I actually wrote on a chalkboard every week, but wanted to do something a little different to document this pregnancy, so I bought a wooden letter board and some cute Rae Dunn inspired letters for the board. I’ll link those below. So, let’s get started because this is going to be a lengthy post since it’s the first one I have to get all caught up. I’ll work backwards starting at week 20 and at the end I’m answering some frequently asked questions for all of you!
-20 Week Bumpdate-
DUE DATE:
July 6, 2020
SIZE OF BABY:
Banana
WEIGHT GAIN:
+1 lb from last week
GENDER:
Boy
MATERNITY CLOTHES:
Wearing maternity jeans and non-maternity leggings. I have a few maternity tops, but can still fit into all of my non-maternity tops/sweaters.
SICKNESS:
This week I was diagnosed with Flu A, so I been extra tired this week and having a lot of lower back pain. I have a cough, hoarse voice and decreased appetite. Also, the hip pain has really started up this week. I ordered a leg pillow to see if that will help at all.
CRAVINGS:
CFA all day everyday.
SLEEP:
Minimal sleep this week due to being sick and increased hip pain.
WHAT I’M MISSING:
Cold sandwiches. Really wishing I could eat a sandwich from Jimmy John’s. Funny thing is that I craved the same thing when I was pregnant with Mason, and it was the first meal I had in the hospital.
MOVEMENT:
Movement has really increased this week. I can feel little jabs/kicks and they are getting stronger. Still haven’t movement long enough for big brother or daddy to feel yet.
MOMENTS TO REMEMBER THIS WEEK:
The biggest takeaway this week is that the flu and pregnancy are not a good combo!

I’ve felt some movement but nothing consistent or daily.
MOMENTS TO REMEMBER THIS WEEK:
The 19 week anatomy scan was great and everything regarding growth was normal. Giving all the praise to God! The scan did show that baby was measuring larger than he should be this far along, which isn’t a surprise since Mason was the same way. Heart rate was in 130’s and the ultrasound tech said that he is very active. -Q&A’s-
Also, some people that follow me on instagram have asked a few questions, so here are my answers.
Q: How far apart in age will your babies be?
A: Baby Cole #2 is due in July when Mason will be 6.5 years old.
A: Baby Cole #2 is due in July when Mason will be 6.5 years old.
Q: Do you have a name?
A: Not yet! When I was pregnant with Mason we only had 2 names to choose from, so having another boy has definitely made it challenging to come up with another boy name.
If you have any suggestions, send them my way!

Q: Was this an accident?
A: No, it was not. In fact, most people don’t know this but were trying for exactly a year before we had this successful pregnancy. There were some issues in between that I might talk about on another post sometime.
Q: How has this pregnancy been different from your first?
A: This pregnancy had been completely different. With Mason, I had zero issues/complications. If I didn’t have a belly I wouldn’t have known I was pregnant. With this pregnancy I had some mild nausea for the first 12 weeks. Then I was diagnosed with strep in January and Flu in February, not to mention the hip pain I’ve been having for the past couple of weeks. I was also told at the anatomy scan that I have placenta previa. It’s definitely put a hold on working out and cycling. I’m just hoping it doesn’t cause an issue with travel plans and that it resolves on its own.
